About Butler, WI
Butler, Wisconsin got its start in 1911 as a railroad village known as “New Butler,” built up around the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway’s shops and yards. The village was officially incorporated on May 5, 1913, with a population of about 200 residents.
