A typical casino night runs about 3 hours of play. Our team sets up before guests arrive, guests check in and get their funny money, the tables run for most of the night, and the evening ends with a prize drawing. We handle breakdown after your guests leave.
Here is what each part of the night looks like.

Before Guests Arrive: Setup
Our team arrives early. We set up the tables, chips, and supplies so everything is ready before your first guest walks in.
Your job is simple. Make sure the room is open and the space is clear. Our guide to casino party space and venue requirements covers what to confirm with your venue ahead of time.
Check-In: Funny Money and Players Cards
When guests arrive, each one gets a Casino Players Card. It stands for their funny money. We recommend between $500 and $1,000 in funny money per guest.
Guests trade their funny money for chips at any table. Then they are free to move between tables all night.
The Main Event: Tables Open
The tables run for most of the evening. Professional dealers run every game and teach the rules as they go, so first-time players feel welcome.
A few tips to keep the energy up:
- Open the tables early. Guests who arrive first have something to do right away.
- Plan breaks around the tables. If you have dinner or a speech, keep it short so guests can get back to playing.
- Mix your games. Blackjack is easy for beginners, while craps and roulette draw a crowd.

The Finale: Chip Count and Prize Drawing
As the night winds down, dealers count each guest’s chips and give them a cash-out voucher. Guests can use their vouchers for raffle tickets or to bid on prizes.
Many hosts give prizes to the guests with the highest chip totals. This gives everyone a reason to keep playing until the end. For more ideas, see our casino party prize and raffle ideas.
After the Party: Breakdown
Breakdown happens after your guests leave. Our team packs up the tables and supplies, so you do not have to worry about a thing.
