Adding a prize element to your casino night gives guests one more reason to keep playing until the end. Here are a few common approaches.

Chip Total Drawings

Many events end the night with a raffle or prize drawing based on chip totals. Guests with the most chips at the end of the night get an entry, or a top prize, which keeps the tables active until closing.

Raffle Baskets

A separate raffle table with donated or purchased prize baskets is a common add-on, especially for fundraiser events, and runs independently of the casino tables themselves.

Tournament Placement Prizes

If you add a poker tournament, placement-based prizes for the final table give the competitive side of the night an extra payoff.

Keep It Entertainment, Not Gambling

Remember that casino tables themselves are entertainment only, with no cash value tied to chips. Any prizes or raffles should be structured separately from table play. If you are running a fundraiser with a raffle or cash prizes, check with the Wisconsin Department of Administration’s Gaming Division or your local municipal clerk about what license or permit your event may need.
